Thank you to all those parents, grandparents, guardians and friends of the school who helped support the students during Athletics Day.

One aspect we all need to be more considerate of is to ensure that our students use the sunblock that is in every classroom and to encourage more of our students to wear hats.  This applies to every lunchtime as well as school events.

Life Education

We have been lucky to have the Life Education caravan visit our school over recent weeks.  Each class will have completed three visits to discuss very important aspects of health education and hopefully you will have taken the time to discuss these with your child.  The Year 8 programme entitled “From the Shadows” dealt with the affects of drugs and alcohol on the developing adolescent and the Year 7 programme entitled “Making Choices” was a lead in to the Year 8 programme.

We would like to thank the Life Education Trust for their work in providing this programme and in particular our Life Education teacher, Shelly who has fitted into Tokoroa Intermediate School and worked hard to help our students.
