Dear Parents / Caregivers Thank you to all those parents who responded to the Sexuality Education survey. There was overwhelming support for this programme to continue in its current format (13% of parents responded with 97% of those wanting the status quo). We thank parents for the ideas they suggested and we are looking at how we might implement some of these ideas. There will be more detailed information once we are nearer the programme start date (early next term). Netball The Waikato Intermediate Schools Netball Tournament scheduled for yesterday, Tuesday, 13 June will now be held tomorrow, Thursday, 15 June. The same arrangements are in place. Lateness With the onset of colder weather we are having large numbers of children arrive to school late. Classes start each day at 8:50 a.m. We would like children at school before this time so that they can be ready for class immediately the bell goes. Please help us to support your child’s education by ensuring children arrive on time. Children who arrive late miss out on vital instruction and disrupt classes for other students. Parent Interviews Monday, 26 June and Tuesday, 27 June Change of Address and/or Phone Number It is important that we have our student records up to date, especially phone numbers and emergency phone numbers in case of sickness or injury. During the year if you change your address or phone number, please let us know by either phoning the school office or giving your child a note to bring to school. We have a number of cellphone numbers that when contacted are no longer active. These are causing us concern. School Social A reminder that our first school Social of the year is Thursday, 22 June. Students must have an invitation which is signed by a parent before they are allowed in. Several Important Reminders
Telecom Fundraising
Many thanks to all students who returned Telecom forms. Your efforts are most appreciated and will go a long way in helping the
