Waikato Intermediate Schools' Volleyball Competition

Yesterday one team of nine boys and ten girls played five games of 15 minutes each at the Events Centre in Te Awamutu.  The boys won two of five games, narrowly missing out on the semi-finals by a score of 29-27, to Berkley Intermediate who had been unbeaten all day.  The girls had two wins from five games, also impressing people with their phases of brilliant play.  Our students were very well behaved and had a competitive day.  Volleyball is a great game in an indoor stadium like the Events Centre in Te Awamutu.
